Dairysafe is currently developing its Strategic Direction 2025-28, following extensive industry consultation.
Dairysafe undertook a detailed annual quality management review workshop in June 2024 with a view to determining its performance efficiency against its previously agreed delivery objectives and targets.
This fed into an extensive round of consultation with leaders of key industry and government stakeholder groups, including Dairy SA, PIRSA, SA Health and DIAA, as well as dairy processors and farmers.
“The detail in the open and reflective volunteered feedback was impressive. A big thank you to all who were involved and freely gave time and thought to this exercise,” said Dairysafe CEO Alistair McFarlane.
Professional resources have now been engaged to blend and harmonise the advice received from stakeholders into a three year strategic plan (Strategic Direction 2025-28).
“The purpose is to ensure Dairysafe can efficiently meet its vision to be recognised as a national and international leader in dairy food safety standards, and customer health custodian,” Alistair said.
The draft Strategic Plan will be circulated to stakeholders for further comments before the end of the year.
