Dairysafe has been working on new ways of collating data and reducing regulatory burden. This is primarily related to pre-audit checklists and electronic contaminant notification forms.

Pre Audit Checklists (processor)
- A Dairysafe audit is booked as normal. Our internal system will then send a confirmation email to the auditee.
- This email will contain a link to a checklist for the processor to complete.
- This will have a series of questions that will provide information to the auditor and processors will be able to upload documents to support information provided i.e., certificates or evidence, if changes have occurred since the last audit.
- Once the checklist has been completed, the data will then prepopulate the relevant audit questions within the Dairysafe Audit System.
- This project has been identified as a method to reduce time spent on collecting data and allow greater time for walking the facilities and identifying the high-risk areas.
Notification and Report of Antibiotic Residue Detection form
- This is currently a manual process, whereby the form is submitted to Dairysafe via email and all details need to be added into the QMS.
- The new process will see this form accessible from the Dairysafe Website. In the event of an incident, the reporter would complete the form and submit it to Dairysafe.
- This will automatically create the incident in our system and remove the need for Dairysafe staff to enter those details.
- It will also ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data being input
Notification of Failed Batch or Notifiable Contaminant form
- This is currently a manual process, whereby processors inform Dairysafe of a failed batch or notifiable contaminant via a phone call or email.
- Dairysafe transfers this information into a formal ‘incident” from within our internal system to capture details and track corrective actions.
- The new electronic notification, via a form on the website, will enable the business to formally notify Dairysafe of an incident, providing prompts for essential information.
- This will automatically create the incident in the system and remove the need for Dairysafe staff to enter those details.
