Congratulations to all the winners of 2018 South Australian Food Industry Awards, revealed on 23 November, and especially the winners representing the SA dairy industry, Golden North and Woodside Cheese Wrights.
Golden North took home two awards, the Regional Award, sponsored by Primary Industries and Regions SA, as well as the Consumer Award, sponsored by Statewide Super.
Woodside Cheese Wrights received the coveted Export Award, sponsored by Visy.
It was the 20th anniversary of the SA Food Industry Awards and, in the spirit of progress, it was announced the awards would become the South Australian Premier’s Food & Beverage Industry Awards from this year onwards.
“The State Government is proud to work in partnership with Food South Australia with the shared goal of supporting industry wide growth,” said Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Tim Whetstone at the awards.
